Our Office
Sensational Smiles is a state-of-the-art dental practice that provides many of the latest trends in dental technology. The practice is paperless, meaning it functions on a completely computerized system, which does away with the need for paper dental records. Even the x-rays are captured digitally, as well as intra-oral imaging. This technology provides many advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions. Your Dentist
Dr. Tahisa P. Colbert is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City and has been practicing in the Acadiana area of southwest Louisiana for nearly 20 years. Her dedication to providing comprehensive dental care stems from her background in community-based dentistry, in which she developed a team approach with other healthcare professionals in treating her patients. To date, she actively serves on the board of directors for Southwest LA Area Health Education Center, continuing her service to the community.
Dr. Colbert is committed to offering her patients optimum care by studying the latest innovations in dentistry. She understands the benefits of the advancements dentistry now has to offer and works diligently to offer these benefits to her patients through her ongoing training. She is currently completing educational courses to obtain fellowship accreditation in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honorary mark of distinction in the profession of dentistry that confirms one's achievement of dental excellence through extensive clinical training. Utilizing many of the most cutting-edge advancements available today, Dr. Colbert is able to offer exceptional care for the overall health and well-being of the entire family.
